NAME: Sarina
AGE: 450
SPECIES: Asari
CLASS: Asari Justicar
PERSONALITY: Highly intelligent, brave, just, kind, EXTREMELY powerful in biotics, and uses implants to further her already fantastic natural abilities. She finds humanity fascinating and studies the ancient ways of the Samurai. She is a very tactical in the battle field.
WEAPONS OF CHOICE: Katana, Sai
BACKGROUND: Like most Asari, Sarina discovered her martial prowess at a very young age. Before her parents sent her off to start training as an Asari Huntress, she found her fondness of Humanity, and studied their philosophies and found their dance styles of Ballet and Modern dance very relaxing. After 30 years of training in different styles of martial arts, and her own venture into using biotics alongside her melee weapons, Sarina was then hired on as a bodyguard for a very prominent Human diplomat by the name of Alex Rain.
Though not very accepting of an alien protecting him, through the years Alex started to see his distrust of aliens was very inaccurate. Through hate, he learned forgiveness. Through forgiveness, he learned Friendship. Through Friendship, he learned Love. The love that Sarina and Alex shared would rival some of the well known romances throughout history. She liked to compare their love to her favorite story from human mythology, "Orpheus and Eurydice”. They were both willing to sacrifice their own life for each other...but sadly, it turned out to be more than just a comparison.
After an assassination attempt on Alex's life, which Sarina was able to stop, Alex told Sarina that he had heard word from a trusted source that the assassins who had attempted to kill him were meeting in an abandoned building. With this information, she traveled the distance, and was ambushed by the group of assassins. After fighting for what seemed like an eternity, she stood there, sais in hand...with bodies all around her. Hearing a moan, she walked over to the assassin in charge, placing her foot on his throat, "What do you want with my fiancee?"
He laughed, "You like the human myth of Orpheus & Eurydice dont you? Well, you may have won here...but in the end, you will lose."
Fear rising up in her, she then said, "Find peace in the embrace of the Goddess", and with that, she snapped his neck.
Getting home as quickly as possible, she found everything destroyed. Tables were knocked over, glass was smashed, and that smell...she knew all too well. She walked to the huge room they used to entertain guests and friends and saw a horrific scene.
Everyone she had ever known, her friends, her co-workers, everyone...dead. Then, what she hoped she would never have to witness, her fiancé, was tied to the wall and beaten to such a state he was close to death. Ripping the ropes out of the wall with her biotics, she slowly lowered him down and cradled him on the floor.
"Sarina...I...I knew you'd come for me,” he said.
Unable to control it, Sarina started crying. Even though Alex could barely move, he still wiped the tears from her face. "Alex, I love you...so much."
Alex looked her in the eyes, and said "I dont have a lot of time Sarina...but i wanted...I wanted to say this. If I only have 30 seconds to live, this is how I want to live them, looking into your eyes. Always remember I love you." With that, Alex slowly closed his eyes.
Holding him, rocking him slowly, letting the tears slip down her face...Sarina managed to say, under each breath, "Find peace in the embrace of the Goddess...my love...You shall be avenged" Her life changed completely from then on. She swore she would seek justice. So she sought out the training she needed. The training she needed to become, an Asari Justicar.

NAME: Captain Len Tonrik
AGE: 34
SPECIES: Turian
OCCUPATION: High Profile Galactic Security: Designated Snipper
CLASS: Infiltrator
PERSONALITY: Stern, blunt, bitter, cynical, dedicated, loyal, experienced, precise, scrutinizing, by-the-book, short-tempered, headstrong
BACKGROUND: Len, like many turians, comes from a family of soldiers. It’s hard to find someone in his blood line that hasn’t done their duty for the Turian military. So, at a very young age, Len knew exactly what he wanted to be when he grew up. He wanted to be a frontline officer just like his father. He was never afraid of anything. And when he was, he never showed it. It was a weakness, his father would tell him. Something so personal and private that he could never let anybody see.
At 15, Len began his boot camp training and caught the attention of every superior officer for his resilience and skillfulness at long range shooting. He belonged no where else. Being on the frontline was exhilarating to him, he felt more a live than ever. Battle after battle, Len came out with honors for his accomplishments on the field. He joined the Turian snipping unit and quickly moved up the ranks to being the Commanding Officer of the team. When he turned 30, he was finally allowed to join the Reserves. He had waited all his life for that day...but, after a few months of joining he was badly injured. He was hit by shrapnel in a close range grenade explosion. His injuries weren’t life threatening but he was blinded from his right eye.
He went through many surgeries and was able to get an implant but he was still taken off the frontline. Regardless of the cybernetic implants, his vision in his right eye could only be improved to 50%. The Reserve couldn’t take their chances with him. This gutted him. He was placed on supportive services behind the lines... “desk jobs”. He couldn’t stand it for more than a day. He felt empty, betrayed, abandoned, lifeless. For some time he just let himself sink into a hole that no one could take him out of. After some time, he received a call from the chief of the High Profile Galactic Security Team. A small team of highly skilled individuals, of all kinds, that went any where that they were needed. After a lot of convincing, Len accepted the job as designated snipper. He was surprised that the team still had faith in his skills, regardless of his injury. One thing the Reserve couldn’t do for him. And he proved that even if he had remained 100% blind in his right eye, he still could shoot the front tooth of a smiling man miles away.
Now, he has been sent to Earth to secure the safe transportation of Commander Shepard. There were many Batarians that wanted him dead, and no one could ever trust a Batarian hiding in a crowd of people. He had heard a lot about the Commander throughout the past few years. He accepted he was highly skilled as a soldier, but he thought his delusions about the Reapers were ridiculous. He was a fanatic, and he didn’t like fanatics. But, regardless of his opinions, he would still make sure no one put a bullet in his head prematurely.

NAME: Doctor Zeek Valian
AGE: 30
SPECIES: Salarian
OCCUPATION: Scientist: Specialized in Indoctrination and Husks.
CLASS: Vanguard
PERSONALITY: Quirky, Spontaneous, Gutsy, Bizarre, Curious, Unpredictable, Intelligent, Passionate, Persistent
BACKGROUND: Zeek is pretty much your typical Salarian: quirky, fast paced, intelligent, etc. But, as typical as he may SEEM, he is actually extremely contradictory. Let me explain. A lot of times, Zeek forgets that he is a Salarian and that running into a battle field with light armor can actually get him killed. Or maybe it’s just that he doesn’t care...or he’s just that confident of his skills. Zeek is a self made Vanguard. He purposefully exposed himself to the dust form of element zero in order to develop biotic abilities. Why? It was an experiment. It worked, so now, he takes advantage of it. He’s extremely gutsy and when one thing is expected of him, he does the opposite. And it’s not to be rebellious, it’s just because he is so determined to get things done the way HE wants them done. He doesn't take authority well.
He has suffered many injuries in the past, and most have been self inflicted. They were all accidents of course. The most visible is an acid burn he has on the left side of his face. Nearly caused him to go blind but, luckily enough, he had been wearing protective goggles. He has been cut, burned, run over by a speeder and has even been head butted by a Krogan or two. Some people may see this as carelessness on his behalf but he sees it as experience.
Zeek is a specialist in indoctrination and husks. The way he got into this field of study was during the attack on Eden Prime, he was fascinated by the Dragon’s Teeth mechanism. He and a group of his scientist went on Eden Prime after the attack and studied the apparatus intensively. They were even able to find a lone husk here and there. Zeek was able to capture them, unharmed, and study them. He was fascinated by the technology and his only conclusion was that this technology was like none they had ever seen before.
He had always known about the Reaper myth and early in his career, he had sworn that the Reapers were real and that he would one day prove it. After seeing what had been done to Shepard and how the Council just wouldn’t listen to reason, he made it his goal to find hard evidence that would prove the Reapers were real and that they could control sentient beings.
He has even been known to say that if he could, he would join Cerberus in a heart beat just to get his hands on the Reaper technology they have. Unfortunately, he’s an alien and they would most likely never accept his application.
He is very close to finding the key to the indoctrination process, the way the Reapers make the husks, and a possible cure/prevention to indoctrination itself. He was on Earth when the Reapers arrived because he had been petitioning the commitee to let him be a professional witness on Shepard’s behalf because he had some very “important information” regarding the topic at hand. He never got the chance to share his findings though. Which wasn’t a very bad thing in his opinion because the arrival of the Reapers was inevitable, and now that they were finally here, he had the perfect opportunity to study their subjects in hopes of finding a way of stopping the Reapers.
